The Venice Cha Cha Matcha is on Abbot Kinney, which is about the most Venice address a matcha bar could have, and it arrived alongside West Hollywood as part of the brand's move west from New York. Everything the brand is known for is here, the Uji ceremonial matcha, the matcha lemonade and the soft serve, in a room whose pink and green reads completely differently against Abbot Kinney's storefronts than it does in a mall. Abbot Kinney rewards a slow walk and this is a good place to start one. Rico's is a short way down at the boardwalk if you want to keep going toward the sand, and we usually do.
