Matcha Guide is a free, independent guide to matcha cafés in Los Angeles. By using this site you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

What this site is

We are a resource and nothing more. We do not own, operate, represent or speak for any café listed here. We are not affiliated with them, we take no payment for a listing, and a listing is not an endorsement, a partnership or a recommendation with any weight behind it beyond our own opinion.

Every café listed is an independent business. Anything you buy, book or arrange is between you and that business.

The information here can be wrong

Listings are compiled from public sources and updated by hand. Nothing on this site is live, and nothing is verified continuously. In particular:

• Menus and drinks. Menu items and photographs are a record of what we saw at some point in the past. They are not updated in real time and may be out of date, incomplete or simply wrong. A drink shown here may have been changed, renamed, reformulated or discontinued.
• Availability and prices. Whether anything is actually available, and at what price, is entirely the café’s business and entirely the café’s responsibility. We show no prices and promise no stock.
• Addresses, map pins and distances. Addresses are geocoded automatically and may be imprecise. A pin may sit on the wrong side of a building or the wrong unit. Distances shown are straight-line estimates calculated in your browser, not travel directions. Check with the café or a mapping service before you set out.
• Opening hours and status. Hours change and businesses close. Where hours appear at all they are indicative. Always check directly.
• Descriptions. Our written descriptions are editorial. They are researched in good faith from public sources, and they may still contain errors, omissions or details that were true once and are not any more.
• Flavors and ingredients. Flavor tags are our own shorthand for browsing. They are not an ingredient list and must never be relied on for allergies, dietary requirements or medical reasons. Ask the café.

Photographs and trademarks

Photographs of drinks, interiors and café spaces, along with logos, café names, menu item names and trademarks, appear here for identification only. They belong to their respective owners.

Images are used to help readers recognize a place and are attributed to their source in our records where a source was recorded. If you hold rights in an image, a logo or a name used here and would like it changed or removed, contact us and we will act on it promptly.

No liability

This site is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss, cost, disappointment, injury or damage arising from your use of this site or from anything you did or did not do in reliance on it. That includes a wasted journey, a closed café, a drink that is no longer on the menu, an incorrect address and any dealings you have with a business listed here.

Links to other sites

We link to café websites, Instagram profiles, ordering platforms, maps and press coverage. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

Acceptable use

Please do not scrape, bulk-copy or republish this directory, interfere with the site, or use it to harass any business or person. The arrangement, selection and written descriptions on this site are ours.

Corrections

We would rather be corrected than be wrong. If something here is inaccurate, out of date or should not be here at all, tell us and we will fix it.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
