The West Hollywood Cha Cha Matcha sits on North Robertson just off Melrose, and it was one of the first two the brand opened when it came west from New York. Robertson is a walking street, so this is the one that catches people mid-browse. Uji ceremonial matcha runs the board here as everywhere, with the matcha lemonade, the nitro drinks and the elixirs alongside it. The pink walls and green tile are the full New York treatment. Doors open at seven on weekdays and eight at the weekend, closing at six either way, so it is a daytime stop. We would take a lemonade out onto Robertson and make a lap of the shops with it.
