The Scoop
The Glendale La La Land sits inside The Americana at Brand, which makes it the easiest of the LA rooms to fold into an afternoon that was already happening. The mall setting means longer hours than a street cafe keeps. Its current matcha menu includes La La Latte, Strawberry Fields, Matcha Squared, Banana Cloud, several chai builds, and seasonal pumpkin and sweet potato drinks. Americana is walkable and the fountain show runs all day, so this is the La La Land to bring people to when you want the visit to fill an afternoon. We would take the matcha out and walk the loop with it. The paid internship for young people leaving foster care runs at this counter too, which is worth knowing while you are queueing with the shopping crowd.
