The Hollywood Memorylook takes the cafe-and-eyewear format north from Koreatown, which is a stranger and better idea than most second locations manage. The matcha einspanner travels intact, matcha under cool fluffy cream, and so does the South Korean casual fashion that fills the retail half. Hollywood has plenty of coffee and very little that doubles as a sunglasses shop, so this room stands out on the street without trying very hard. We would come for the einspanner and stay to try on frames, which is exactly the sequence the place is designed around.
