The Echo Park Stereoscope brings the roaster onto Sunset Boulevard, into one of the busiest cafe corridors in Los Angeles. It is the smaller of the LA rooms and keeps the polished minimalist look, with the ceremonial matcha and the full roaster-side depth intact, from pour-overs through espresso. Couplet Coffee's flagship and Laveta are both close by, which makes this corner of Echo Park a genuinely good three-cafe morning. We would start here while the palate is clean and work east along Sunset from there. Sunset through Echo Park has filled up with good coffee over the last few years, and Stereoscope arriving is part of why the stretch is now worth walking end to end.
