The Long Beach Stereoscope opened in Belmont Shore in 2022 on East 2nd Street and was the roastery's first shop, which makes it the room where the whole thing was proved out. The exclusive Japanese ceremonial grade matcha is here alongside beans roasted in house, and the award-winning OlssønBarbieri packaging is worth a look while you wait. Belmont Shore is a walking neighborhood and the shop sits in the middle of it, so this works as the anchor of a slow morning. Meccha Matcha also has a Long Beach room if you want to follow a roaster's matcha with a specialist shop's version of it. We would do them in that order.
