The Scoop
Alfred is on Traction Avenue in the Arts District, opening at 6:30 am. The block is one of the walkable pockets of downtown, close enough to the galleries and the warehouse conversions that the room fills with people who came on foot. The Arts District is where we would put an Alfred if we were picking, and somebody clearly agreed. The full matcha lineup is here, from the plain iced latte through the POG Matcha, the Matchaga blend and the Boost protein matcha built on grass-fed whey or vegan pea protein. The lavender latte comes on housemade syrup with a tea of French lavender and butterfly pea.
