The Scoop
Alfred is on North Maple Street in Burbank, a few minutes from the studio lots, opening at 6:30 am. That early door is doing obvious work in a neighborhood where crews start before dawn. We like this one for being the least self-conscious Alfred in the group. The matcha menu is complete, from the plain hot latte through the Matcha Cloud Cream under its vanilla cloud top, and the lavender latte is built on housemade lavender syrup with a tea of French lavender and butterfly pea. The Matchaga folds in chaga and lion's mane if the day ahead is a long one.
