Alfred's Coldwater cafe sits where Ventura Boulevard meets the canyon road, opening at 6:30 am. It is the second of two Alfreds in Studio City, the other being the Ventura Place room a few minutes west. Having a choice of two Alfreds inside one neighborhood is a luxury we did not expect from the Valley. This is the one to use if you are heading over Coldwater Canyon and want the cup before the climb. The matcha menu is complete, the POG Matcha over its passionfruit and guava base and the Matchaga with chaga and lion's mane included, and the strawberry latte comes on housemade syrup.
