This is where the whole thing started. The counter in Grand Central Market opened in May 2013 under the G&B name and was the group's first coffee bar, set inside a market hall that has been feeding downtown for a century. It runs as a 360-degree bar, so you can stand at any side of it and the person pulling your shot is right in front of you. The drink and pastry menu is the short version of the group's board, matcha latte included. We treat it as the required stop on any Grand Central Market run, and the casual format means you are never waiting long.
