Kettl

The Los Feliz Kettl is the first West Coast outpost of the New York Japanese tea specialist, opened in late February 2025 on a street that has become one of the city's better matcha corners. Three separate matcha varieties are sourced purely for the lattes here, and the brewed list runs deep behind them. Hojicha and sobacha come as lattes and cortados, iced sparkling matcha and shaken gyokuro sit alongside, and wakoucha and sencha are brewed hot. Tea arrives weekly straight from producers through Kettl's own import arm in Fukuoka, a supply chain nothing else in Los Angeles can match. Maru and Go Get Em Tiger are both a short walk away, so Los Feliz supports a proper matcha morning. We would start at Kettl while the palate is clean.
