Stagger Coffee

Stagger Coffee runs under a three-word banner: balance the unbalanced. It sits on West 8th in Koreatown and has built its name on matcha that goes twice as hard as anyone would expect. The signature list is eight drinks long and half of it is tea. Cream Top, Double Matcha, Donut Latte, Orange Mocha, Stagger Tonic, Double Hojicha, Coconut Matcha, Strawberry Matcha. The Double Matcha earns the name. High-grade matcha is whisked into the milk and again into the thick vanilla cream on top, so the flavor holds all the way down instead of fading under the cream. Doors are eight to four on weekdays and eight to five at the weekend. Dumbstruck Coffee and Yeems Coffee are both on the same stretch, so we would start here and keep walking.
